Today we went to visit the exhibition entitled "Troia, the end of the city, the birth of a" myth Bellini Palace. There were amphorae, bas-reliefs and paintings about it and I liked the set and sound very much, you were immersed in that age and even a little in the Iliad. Moreover it was a free exhibition and upstairs there was the historical library "La Morelli"
Splendid palace, use of the theater and always interesting exhibitions.
Palazzo Bellini: has nothing to do with the painter Bellini of the Early Renaissance from Venice, but was built in 1870 on the Via della Pescheria. The antique sailor stocks have moved into the museum opposite. There is now space for modern special exhibitions and exchange exhibitions, open from Monday (!) To Saturday from 9-12 and 15-18, such as an exhibition about World War II, which ended 100 years ago. Here uniforms and equipment are shown. Modern art can also be seen, currently mixing techniques by Alfredo Pini from Ferrara. The entrance was free, the toilets are behind the elevator.
Simply because it is fantastic .... a quiet place with so much history and things to visit ...
