Superb mining, quarry caves that extend for hundreds of meters, a bit uncomfortable because they are inclined, but very unique and fascinating. Beautiful tour.

Really suggestive, it would be nice if there was a path a bit more accessible or with some facilitation like a rope or a bit of lighting.

It's nice to go into the woods and the Roman caves are part of the path of the paths above the Conero (AN) which then leads to the sea panorama. I recommend doing it with a guide, I made them with Balaclavas, in order to find the most unusual points like the Roman caves without getting lost. Hello

Following the CAI 301 paths on Monte Conero you can get to the Roman caves, along the tunnels you can see the furrows left by the rudimentary tools used.
