Just outside the historic center of Maruggio, along the central via Vittorio Emanuele, stands the imposing former Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, now the town hall. Inside there is one of the most beautiful Franciscan cloisters in Salento with wonderful frescoes along all the walls of the cloister. A guided tour is recommended to understand the many stories told by the depictions. Maruggio a small pearl to discover.
