The former Albergo Torrette was a piece of history forgotten and abandoned to itself like other historic buildings in Fano. This tree was in the 19th century a villa belonging to the Marcolini Counts. It was later transformed into an elegant Victorian nineteenth-century style hotel with a large and elegant garden. Around the 1930s it had its golden age. In front of the sea, it was a strategic place for the nearby seaside resort Torrette which took its name from the facade of the tree where two turrets are located. This elegant hotel, with a nearby church consecrated to St. Paul the Apostle, during its peak, during the dictatorship, became the economic center of the seaside resort founded in front of it that bore, and still bears, its name. Then also began its decline due in part to too many debts accumulated over the years. When it closed, even though it was the center of the resort, the latter expanded. Decades have passed since the structure was abandoned to decay and, so far, the municipality has done nothing to restore the area, making it not even touristy. It was preferred to build another church instead of renovating the old one. Still, it's still a fascinating place and I recommend seeing it but only externally.

Today it is half hidden by the luxuriant vegetation that surrounds it, but the Hotel Torrette which in the thirties lived its golden age, still celebrates the taste of the past with its fascinating neglect. It is located in front of the underpass that leads to the beaches of Torrette, a town south of Fano which owes its name to the hotel with the two turrets. To be seen!

Beautiful but ... In decay. If nobody thinks about renovating it ....

Sin is left totally abandoned, could be a source of tourism and additional source for all.occhiello ,, turrets on the contrary is a tourist village in the open.
