Under this Church (Chiesa di Sant'Eufemia) was found while excavating work and was only opened in 2001. Hidden below they found the remains of the House of di Petro that goes back to pre-Etruscan era. Amazing mosaics. Well worth the admission price.
Wow what amazing pieces of mosaics! The sheer age of these pieces of history are incredible. Definitely worth a visit so much history and art in this town!🌈
The Domus dei tappeti mosaici Is gorgeous and the structure easy to follow and understand. Not many people so it was nice spot to have mosaics to yourself and try to imagine the home in it's hey day.
Amazing mosaics, exquisitely restored
Fabulous on all levels. A must see not for only the unearthed mosiac floor, but for the process itself. Well worth the admission.
