Very interesting little museum with archaeological finds from the Sabina. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The external cloister is very beautiful and is also used for cultural events. Cost of the ridiculous entrance ticket: for € 3 it is definitely worth it!

All closed, turning around the building there is an entrance closed with a padlock and an Excel spreadsheet that indicates the days of absolute closure and windows of the days and hours for which by calling the numbers indicated it is possible to book the visit. a provincial capital seems little to me because the scenography is important.

We were yesterday with my children to visit this small but very interesting museum in Rieti. We really liked it a lot and above all my boys ... it was really a nice experience to discover the origins of our territories and how much history there is around the city of Rieti ... highly recommended. Also noteworthy is the kindness of the people who take care of the museum and the interesting evening events that are organized to promote the visit to this little jewel of the city ...

The museum goes from the protohistoric to the Roman period. The setting is well cared for, with rooms rich in various finds. The layout per hall is very homogeneous, with references to the territory.
