Beautiful and very interesting experience. History, architecture and art are enclosed in this suggestive tour and told very well by the guide Samuele (and in excellent English, for us who have an English-speaking family). Too bad for the not yet accessible parts of the basement. We hope that private individuals and the church can give their permission to open them and visit them to make the visit even more beautiful.
Truly a very interesting experience, it is not just a question of visiting a very special place, but of discovering a history that begins with the Sabines and is older than Rome and makes Rieti a city that also had considerable importance in the growth of Rome itself.
The guide Samuele made the visit very pleasant and full of curious and enlightening anecdotes.
I highly recommend
The guides raise the stars for skill and preparation ... otherwise little to see, the expectation is not entirely satisfied
