An easy place to reach through a very short and shady path among the trees that starts directly from the historic center of Varigotti. You can enjoy a 360 degree view over the whole of Varigotti, the Saracen bay and the surrounding beaches. Perfect to admire the sea in all its majesty and to admire, on clear days, all the Ligurian coasts in the distance

The Saracen Tower was built in 1559 at Cape Punta Crepe to observe and defend against Turkish attack, on the site of a Byzantine kastrum that was razed to the ground by King Rotary in 641. Subsequently - the Castle of the Marquis del Caretto of Finale Ligure in 1341 destroyed by the Genoese. Be careful - snakes can bask on the path (pictured)

Beautiful conclusion of the walk that runs alongside Finale Ligure - Varigotti. Going up from the dock of the Borgo dei Saraceni you can admire a beautiful panorama. Please leave it clean and take care of it.
