If you go to the Finale area, I think this excursion is one of the things to do and to plan. Very nice to do it in the morning, where the landscape or the cave enjoy a beautiful light. The excursion is not long, but takes a few hours away, take into account to avoid the very hot hours if possible, and bring water, comfortable shoes for walking along the paths, sometimes steep, and do not underestimate the itinerary. It is advisable to consult a map and a preventive description, or have one with you; the path is well marked and evident, but it crosses many other itineraries, for example those for mtb on the plateau or others, the signs and the different signs can sometimes generate confusion. If you start from Varigotti, pay attention to where to park, the places are few and they fill up quickly.
