Small city museum, showing a lot of equipment it was used by famous "Palombari" of Viareggio as well as rich history of local ship and boat builders of which are present building some of World known yachts as Benetti, Perini Navi, Feretti, Azimut, San Lorenzo, Maiora... As previously mentioned not a "big" museum but definitely will make you feel the local rich history.

It is open on the second Sunday of the month, so I was unable to enter, the review is postponed to next Sunday.

Beautiful museum, pride of the Viareggio marinara. There are memorabilia of the adventures of the Claw Ship of the 20th and 30th of last century. The environment was originally a fish market. The museum is also the venue for the awarding of the international Artiglio award.

The museum is rich in historical and cultural finds that are part of the wealth of skills on everything concerning ships and their construction, of the Viareggio territory. Friendly and helpful staff with a very prepared guided tour. To visit absolutely.
