The monastery is closed, the nuns have moved out of Lecce. Mine are memories of the heart. I had three cloistered aunts.
If you can find out where they have moved you can eat real pasta, a recipe eaten and found only by them. Almonds, sugar filled with quince jam marm
It is a church to discover and then the almond paste of the Benedictine nuns is very good

I'm sorry I couldn't visit because it's closed, I'm in love with Lecce, but as museums, churches and other historical opening times it's not very up to date, or rather, there are no sites on the net where you can see what you can find open and what not. Updates on historical sites you can visit that are not private or closed. Among other things the monasteries should all be open to visitors or not ?? 🤔 I'll wait for the next trip to see if it's open ...
