Camping al Sole

Pitches (Superior) are big enough for large caravan and a car. Playground and swiming pool keep kids busy for many days. Beach on the lake is just behind a walkway and behind a fence with two gates - one at pool area and the other one at pitch area. Water in the lake is incredibly clean and clear. Restaurant, bar, market, reception all worked as expected. We've used washingmashine and dryer (4EUR each) and had to dry it on sun as the dryer didn't do the job right. Apart from that no issues.

We have been here one day so far. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had something broken in the mobile home and someone was sent to fix it ASAP. Pool is warm and the location is great! A little busy but it is high season. The highway was a concern in some other reviews but we don’t find it to be disruptive, quite quiet actually, we had our windows open all night and were not disturbed. Had dinner in the restaurant and all food was delicious. We are visiting during COVID and one concern is that they don’t seem to be as concerned about hygiene as other countries. Every disinfecting station has been empty since we got here, I have mentioned it twice but they are not being refilled. They do have plastic between the employees and guests at check in and the employees wear masks inside. The chairs in the pool area are all close together and people aren’t trying to stay apart from other families. It feels a little like the precautions are superficial. Hoping to see improvement through our stay.

My favorite campground yet. Stayed in a well equipped mobile home with a great patio. The location is beautiful, the lake is lovely but the highlight for our kids was the newly renovated pool. They went swimming every day. Didn't use them much but the sanitary block looked new and clean as well. Highly recommend camping al sole

Me and my family had a great time on this beautifull spot with good and friendly service. Unfortunately the guy at the reception got really unfriendly because my family was still on the Camping area after paying, although our pitch was free and it wasn't 12 yet. It's a real pity that our great time had to and like that.

Reviewing this as a tent camper. Site is in a great spot on the lake - (Shame about the busy road which can be noisy from 5:30am if your tent camping which doesn’t make for the most peaceful wakeup). Lake access is great. The water front is not a beach, more a bank - but all good for launching boats/boards and sun bathing. New pool is lovely. Toilets are good. Pitches a tad small but typical of Italy/smaller site pitches in Europe. Ground is really stoney so bring floor protection for your tent floor and strong pegs. Lake is clean - warm and great to swim in. Quite a lovely spot.
