Serra San Quirico

Medieval village in the province of Ancona which rises on the slopes of Mount Murano and is surrounded by imposing walls, dominated by the fourteenth-century Torre del Cassero. A fortified architectural structure, dominating the valley and remained practically intact over time! characterized by narrow streets paved with sandstone and the "Copertelle", covered passages of Longobard origin, over which the mighty entrance gates of the town watch.
