Cilento Resort Villaggio Velia

We stayed a week from 16 to 23, very well-kept village nothing to say, sore point the restaurant, disorganization among the waiters for the tables they brought you the appetizer then they forgot for the other courses, poor food, and dishes not at the top, waiters who favored some tables perhaps because friends and us more than one family forgotten, personally I had a Bungalow for 4 people, me my wife and two girls, two bunk beds, I had asked for the side of the bed for the child who slept above, not they kept it, a maintenance gentleman came without a mask I asked him to wear it came to take the measurements well they were painting the edge of my room, I asked him if they could paint it outside, so it was done after it was painted and dried it was assembled but the bungalow smelled of paint, things never seen before, entertainment not at the Top, but the sore thing was the food, Cilento Resort Velia ✴️✴️✴️✴️? We need to remove two of its stars, that's just fine, we won't go back there anymore and I don't recommend it to anyone!

Good resort but lacking in style and above all organization. 3 hours of waiting for accommodation, and with an 11-month-old baby is not the best, although we showed up strictly after 17.00 (17.05) as they wanted. In a period like this, organization and professionalism shouldn't sin so sensationally. Too easy to blame mister covid ... PS: if they come to see you, get warned in time because no one in the resort will bother to do so ...

I stayed from 19 to 26 July 2020 with the family and a group of friends. Well-kept village, air-conditioned cottage, but a really small bathroom. Restaurant on shift, we had 13.45 and dinner at 20.4t so we were lucky. Friendly waiters, very good animation staff. Big flaw, the beach closes at 7pm, the lifeguard is very rude not suitable for being in the public and not suitable for working. closed badly, informed they never came to check. Surely the welcome there is not so much praised in the south. The waiters in the restaurant and the guys in the bar were great.

It has a lot of potential the structure and the beach but with better management it would be able to divide the civilized people with the uncivilized. Enforce the smoking ban in all public areas and especially under umbrellas because people want to breathe the sea air not the clouds of smoke. I recommend more people to the staff to take turns in the workplace and make the summer season pleasant especially for the employees who are important for the structure. X the owners I wanted to remind you that the difference can only be made by taking care of the details and not massacring the staff.

I stayed at the Velia from 23 to 30 August with my family. My overall opinion is 7, the village is very beautiful, the greenery is well cared for, an ideal place for holidays with children. There are certainly aspects that could be improved but if I were to return I would do it with pleasure. Check in much later than expected, the rooms (in my case a bungalow) are not very spacious and certainly in need of modernization, but overall they are functional. The beach is kept tidy and clean, the swimming pool is really beautiful, the surrounding palm trees are suggestive, but too small for the user and above all not well managed, there are not enough sunbeds for everyone, the rudeness of those who leave a towel on the bed for the whole day without using it is not supervised and therefore there are those who are forced to sit on the lawn and those who have 4 beds for only one room. The entertainment is discreet and unobtrusive, all good guys, congratulations !!! The classic Mediterranean cuisine is really good, varied and assorted. Attentive to the needs of the little ones. The dining room staff is worthy of mention, polite, kind, helpful, professional, very attentive people. Specifically, my applause goes to Alessandro Mauro and Guido, truly exceptional. The only flaw alas is the cleanliness of the rooms, below standard. Never once have they swept under the bed in 7 days, beds arranged haphazardly and not made up and bed linen never changed in 7 days despite my specific request. In times of covid it would be appropriate to pay more attention to cleanliness (only for this I have not given 4 stars). If I can give some advice to the property I would better manage the entry and exit times, on balance by entering the room at 19 and leaving it at 10, a day of vacation is good that gone. All in all nice experience, he knows how to redo !!!
