Hemingway Pub Pizzeria Braceria

Incorrect service. We were last night in this pub which is located in the center of Acciaroli, We arrived around 8:35 pm. The place was almost empty. We ask for a table for 6 (we were with 4 girls and 2 adults) we sit outside on the wooden benches. After about 15 minutes there was not even the water at the table ... I start to signal several times to one of the waiters to place the order or to have at least water. The waiter strictly with the mask down sees me and pretends nothing has happened. Meanwhile, a table arrives with about 8 people who knew the waiter. Immediately bring the water there. After another 20 min we are still sitting without having ordered and without water. A total of about 40 minutes have passed. The waiter continues to see us and not calculate us. The waiter without a mask on his mouth signals to another waiter (I must always say with a mask on) to take the order at the table of the people he knew. He very kindly signals that he must first take the order from us and then enter the room. After 2 min the waiter friend of theirs takes the order from the table arrived after us bypassing what your colleague had said. Seeing this, after 45 minutes of waiting and the girls were hungry, we got up and left! We had to go to a rotisserie as all the restaurants were now full! An unfairness and rudeness never seen in any restaurant even in the most remote place in the world. If the service is like this I can't imagine the rest.

To date it is the first time that I put a single star. I didn't think it was possible because I'm not a demanding person and I have my relatives who are in the restaurant business. There were 6 of us, I was my partner with 4 girls. We sat down at 8:30 pm. Despite the constant nods to the waiter and despite seeing us, we were unable to get a bottle of water to serve us and the girls were thirsty. At 9 pm another 8 people sit next to our table. The waiter who has repeatedly ignored us knows them and immediately starts talking about the menu with them strictly always with the mask completely lowered and who has never raised his face the whole evening. At 9:10 after 40 minutes in which we have been ignored, the arrogant waiter asks the waiter who took the orders with the mask I must always say on his face, to take the order from the table of friends. He rightly replies that he has to serve us first since we arrived 20 minutes early. And go inside. After another 10 minutes the waiter without a mask comes out and takes the order at the table of his friends next to us, climbing over us. We immediately got up and left and had to eat at a rotisserie because the restaurants were all full now. If the attention to food and cleanliness were to be even remotely similar to the service I think this place would be a complaint. For the first time in my life I put a star.

The pub has recently changed management and is now called "Amami". The location is, outside, extremely suggestive, because the tables are placed in two delightful crossbars, framed by a couple of very characteristic and romantic views, in keeping with the name. The menu includes: pizzas, sandwiches and panuozzo, several main courses of grilled meat and various treats and side dishes ... we opted for Argentina entrecote and boneless roast chicken with a side of baked potatoes. Everything was of excellent quality, the meats cooked well, the potatoes genuine and the presentation discreet. Personally, I would have liked more aromas or spices to flavor, but the judgment is quite positive. The transition to the new management presents, for the moment, some problems due precisely to the fact that these are the first organization times for this staff. For example, you can only pay in cash because there is no pos yet. Fortunately, a few meters away there is an ATM to be able to withdraw. But, where the relative inexperience was evident, it was with the dessert. We asked what they had and they said they had homemade tiramisu. Taking the picture, I was looking forward to a parfait that had a beautiful face ... unfortunately the spoon didn't even sink because it was frozen !!! Noting it, they apologized and offered us an amaro (the finished coffee!) ... satisfactory "quality-price" ratio. however, the premises for overcoming many impasses are all there and I am confident that it will soon earn stars and enthusiastic reviews. Another note of atmosphere are too sweet kittens hanging around there and, at some point, they have become the attraction of the customers.

One of the best pubs in Acciaroli and Italy cannot be so aesthetically bad. The service is bad. You eat well, the only thing the dishes are exaggerated. For a sandwich, however, you cannot wait 45 minutes. I count 15 minutes to receive it but that's right ..... Rude, arrogant and not serious staff.

Great sandwiches and pizzas but service leaves a lot to be desired.
