Palazzo Confalone

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Confalone this summer. The palazzo is from 12 century, but it is beautifully restored and furnished by the new owner. We stayed in the suite room of the new villa. The room is very modern and spacious, with a big jacuzzi to relax at end of the day. The view from the balcony was magnificent. I could sit there forever with my dog and watch the beautiful scenery of the mountain and the ocean. What we liked the most about this hotel was their service. All the staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The receptionist Deborah has helped us with the restaurant suggestions & reservations, finding information about a concert or the sightseeing spot during our vacation. Marianna and her coworkers, who served our table for our breakfast was also a very professional. They exactly knew the perfect timing to serve the meal, and always brought what we wanted before we asked. And last but not least, they have a wonderful chef. The Croissant he or she makes is like the one in France, and I swear it was the best I had in Italy. I heard that the restoration of the building is still under going and it will mostly completed this fall. Since the new owner is respecting the history of the building. They kept the original floor tiles and the ceiling paintings. I can not wait to see the full renovated palazzo next time we go to Ravello. Also, the hotel owner owns a winery in Ravello. They make great wine and Lemoncello🍋❤️

Stumbled upon this place. Service is amazing. Food is glorious. View is spectacular. Amazing find. Absolutely perfect.

It is def not a 5-star hotel, not even 4-star hotel. The building has a Great potential to be a very beautiful hotel, however, the maintenance is really poor. Our room was horrible. All the materials are cheap and renovation was done very bad. Moreover, I did not even have a shampoo in the bathroom which is unacceptable for «5-star hotel ».

Very sweet staff - just came for a coffee & the view. Treated me like royalty. Grazie!

People must be warned. This is false advertising. The pictures are so far from reality. This is by far the worst hotel (sold as “5 stars”) we have ever stayed at. Really disappointed and feeling totally ripped off.
