After an excellent meal, where I had the best mozzarella di bufala in my life , we decided to digest and visit villa Cimbrone. It's beautiful, but you can only stroll outside. So, yes the buildings are great, we can take good pics, but probably because of covid, we miss half of the visit.

This is quite a treck....and I mean its particularly rediculous if you are planning to go there for dinner at their fancy restaurant. The english-Italian gardens are nice, with spectacular views...september there were not many flowers but lush green. Good hike for the young....a pass perhaps for the middle aged....

Paradise on earth, having the gardens for ourselves after breakfast from 0800 to 0900 was such an amazing experience.

We had booked at the restaurant and there are only stairs to access.but garden and its British-Italian history suited our plans for a lazy afternoon in Ravello. Well worth stopping at the birthplace of Garbo at the hotel itself.

It’s a winner. Have lunch on the terrace and take in the view, and the gamechanging pasta. Pretty reasonable prices given the setting, and only a few covers too so not at all crowded.
