I booked an apartment well in advance for the week of 5-12 August. I really wanted to take a vacation in that place but unfortunately some family problems came up so I had to cancel the booking by communicating it on June 19th by email, so for a good time to be compensated for the deposit. From that date I sent a new email and made a phone call but nothing, no mention. I will not die of hunger for 100 euros that I will not see again, but surely if next year I want to stay in Campomarino I will turn to someone else. And anyway, if it is written that by making the cancellation within 45 days of departure you are compensated it seems fair to maintain the statement.
