Essenza Lucano

Essenza Lucano is located in Pisticci scalo, a really well-kept place where you can learn about the history and origins of the great Amaro Lucano, pride of Basilicata and all of Italy. Unfortunately, there is no one in the museum to welcome us, but it doesn't matter because you can visit it independently. Once out, you pass through a small but well-kept garden that is truly fragrant, with its scents reminiscent of the herbs of the mythical bitter and on the other side you will find the bar and the resale of the amaro with all the liqueurs produced by the company. Unfortunately I put 3 stars because at the bar they weren't able to make me any of the cocktails proposed and explained in the museum as I am told by the bar tender that they had nothing to do it with, in short, they only had the chinotto and that's it for which I am had to settle for the cocktail made with amaro and chinotto. Moreover, I am told that they have requested tonic water, Sprite, etc. but they have not yet been delivered by the company. So I honestly ask myself, but if it is true that you lack things that are so easily available, it is not enough to send one of the 2 bar tenders to any supermarket to get what you need! But it is possible that in the Essenza Lucano bar they can only serve a cocktail! I love your amaro and your story, I came to you to be able to taste your Essence also through your proposals and you don't have 12cl of Sprite to make one of your cocktails like the excellent Stecco Lecco! The problem is that not only the Sprite was missing, but in the whole bar, in addition to your excellent alcoholic productions, you had only the chinotto ..... but how is it possible !. Forgive me but sincerely I am sorry for you. I send you a hug and I hope that you can always be number one in everything ...... just like your amaro and as the Knight Vena has taught you and you. Ad maiora semper!

beautiful formula to retrace a family history and of all those who like Lucano. very modern and stylish, it allows you to "meet" the key figures in the history of Lucano: the young Cav. Vena, the Pacchiana (the woman symbol of bitterness) the technicians of the production and the Vena heirs ... visit recommended also for the staff present at the very friendly and nice company shop.

I purchased both "amaro lucano" and "limoncello and malga butter" (exquisite) and a series of liqueurs, each one better than the other and chocolates. Not to mention the mini packs of collectible liqueurs, they are the top. The service was quick and efficient, the products arrived directly at home (Milan) in perfect condition, packaged as a work of art. I highly recommend buying it for its exceptional value for money.

Visited today the Essenza Lucano museum ... Its history is exceptional. We made some purchases after having a great coffee
