Cimitero Comunale di Bellano

Well-kept cemetery that I visited for the first time, despite being resident in the Alto Lario. I wandered among many tombs from which you could admire a beautiful lake view. I paused in particular in front of some of the most ancient, real works of funerary art. Then there was on my part the due and respectful greeting to all the dead, regardless of the type of their graves. My religious spirit and my way of thinking, well expressed by Antonio De Curtis (Totò) in the poem "'A livella", always leave me a little bitter in seeing so many differences even in one of these last residences of a human being : I would like to see tombs all the same so that at least death appears as the end of so many useless earthly vanities.
