Beautiful city have posted some photos by the lakefront as not far away by foot to the gorge. Gorge itself is under construction largely so I would recommend going in the summertime so as to not missed the full experience as currently paying admission which is on the expensive side and is a bit redundant for the walk available currently. However the area of Bellano is in itself a wonderful place and if you speak Italian get speaking to the locals. They are very warm natured and will give you lots of advice about travelling around the lake. I would recommend also getting a leaflet detailing the 15 million year old history of the gorge as it is not explicitly signposted in gorge walk. However very clearly a beautiful natural sight and one for those who adore the outside world.
If you find yourself in this beautiful lakeside town on Lame Come then I recommend this is a nice place to visit. It costs 4 euros per adult which is a fair price as it doesn't really take long to walk around. You enter the small and narrow canyon on a man-made walkway overlooking the impressive waterfalls and small pools of beautiful clean water which comes down from the mountains. It lets you ponder on how the power of nature and in this case, water has carved its way through solid rock. Give it a look if you are nearby.
Interesting cliff and cascade in the center of a small town. The entrance price of 4 euros is just correct for what you can see. But it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby, and if you find one, do not expect it to be very large.
Beautiful but way too expensive.
No discount for students, 4€ per person is too much for a walk of 5minutes.
Better spend it on a cup of ice cream.
The canyon is beautiful and interesting to see but the price kills it all.
This is a pity..
Beautiful but very small gorge. They are currently extending the walk ways - so it may be a little longer walk.
I would only go if you plan on visiting Bellano anyhow. The city itself is nice and the narrow streets provide for a cool place during hot summer days (we visited at 12:30 / 34°C).
