Surprinsingly nice. An unexpected find. Nonetheless opening times might not follow the planned schedule.

They have some leaflets in English, Spanish, French and German. Beautiful museum with a lot of stuffed animals, peaceful garden and splendid greenhouse with many different types of cactacee.

Interesting museum of the local fauna. Arranged on several levels at low cost. At other times it would be appreciated and attended with much more interest It deserves more visibility. "Craveri" Civic Museum of Natural History The "Craveri" Civic Museum of Natural History was founded in 1843 as a private natural history museum of the Craveri family. The naturalistic collections of his father Angelo and his son Federico, who lived for almost twenty years in Mexico, were exhibited on the third floor of their home. In 1890 the Museum was donated by the heirs to the City of Bra. The Museum consists of twelve rooms on three floors. On the ground floor there is the historical room dedicated to its founders, the earth science room and the local geopaleontology room. The first floor is dedicated to zoology. Several African ungulate trophies are arranged along the stairs. On the second floor there is the ancient room of the ornithological collections, the room dedicated to the prehistory of Tenerè, the room of dioramas on the habitats of the Braidese and the meteorological room. The museum has a large garden used for events, an educational garden for organic farming projects with schools and a greenhouse with an exhibition of succulent plants.

I just tell you that it was closed during opening hours, no one answered the phone or even the doorbell. 10.40 am on Sunday 30 August, no closing information on the site or on the door of the museum.

I loved it. Sometimes we look for somewhere where we know certain things and we have beautiful ones near home. Very good the girl who welcomed us and acted as guide. Low entry price is worth at least € 5 not € 3 ..... to be reviewed @
