Warning: avoid staying here at all Costs unless you want to be forced to pay far more than what you agreed to. What seemed like an extremely hospitable woman welcoming you into her home turned into a chance to profit off of guests as much as possible. I am extremely sad to be writing this review because the first night we arrived I planned to write a dazzling one. Immediately upon arrival we were turned off by the 15 flights of stairs up to the houses location, which we were never warned about in the listing. It’s to be expected on the amalfi coast that you’re going to hike up some stairs, but we expected a few, not 15 with our 4 bags or we would have consolidated our belongings into small carry ons. We were exhausted when we finally made it to the house, and were offered water by the owner. She told us to go up to our room, take a shower and come down for dinner. We followed her instructions, and went downstairs to a dinner bruschetta with anchovies and pasta with clams and octopus (we are not fans of seafood whatsoever but we accepted to not seem rude because it seemed so sweet) During dinner the owner told my boyfriend to come with her to a garage where we would put our car (we had a spot on the street among other cars parked) but she told us that it was unsafe so we thanked her and my boyfriend followed her to the garage which we assumed was close by. When my boyfriend returned he told me he was shocked the garage was a whopping 2.0 Kilometers back to the street entrance up to the 15 flights of stairs back to the house, meaning the next day it would take us 20 minutes of walking just to get down to our car. It was all a little inconvenient but with how welcoming the owner was we agreed. The second night we decided to park in street because it was 1/4 of the distance to walk compared to the garage she took us to. Upon checkout we were bombarded with a bill of 125 euros on top of the cost of our originally booked stay. We asked about the charges. She said 50 € for parking 50 € for dinner 1.50 x 4 for each bottle of water she offered to us upon arrival and with dinner. And 1.5 x 2 for water we drank from the fridge (our choice) And 4 € for the hotel tax The only charges we were informed of and prepared for prior to booking was the hotel tax and the water we drank by choice. We were absolutely SHOCKED that she was trying to charge us for things she offered so kindly (now looking back, basically forced upon us) and had NO WARNING WHAT SO EVER that we would be charged. If we were told prior to being charged we would have happily found a parking spot safe on the street for the second night. And declined the offer for dinner because we had already eaten and did not want a seafood dinner. It all seems like a hidden agenda to make as much much money off of guests as possible, masked as a kind woman welcoming you into her home kindly. We travel about 4 times a year and are no strangers to foreign accommodations, but this is the first time in our lives that we were bombarded with charges upon check out that were not ONCE discussed prior. AVOID STAYING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY 25 a night for parking which is 2.0 kilometers away, 50 a night for dinner as well as be charged for every single item she offers you sweetly only to charge you later and never tell you the cost. I hope she changes her way of going about things and warns guests about charges prior to offering them in the future so this is her last bad review. It really breaks my heart to be writing this because she seemed like such a kind woman. And we felt so welcomed, that is until she tried to milk for everything we are worth.

The B&B Le Olive is really fantastic, a house in the green, on top of Conca dei Marini, directly overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Following in the footsteps of the caring Angela, we walked a staircase as tiring as it was beautiful, among olive trees, persimmons, flowers and typical houses ... and stopping for a moment to take a breath will allow you to enjoy the majestic panorama that you will have in front of you unta Reached the estate, among the olive trees, and the splendid garden with chicken coop and hydromassage pool and spaces in which to enjoy that splendid atmosphere, we met Vittorio, the friendly owner, we went up again to our room: very clean and well-kept, with shower overlooking the bed and sea view and with large window and terrace overlooking Amalfi and the coast, to fall asleep and wake up with a breathtaking view. Finally, Angela's advice was invaluable, they really made our trip better. We will definitely be back.
