A truly exceptional place to stay. Great hosts who ferried us to a restaurant and to the start of the walking trail. Very nice room in the heart of a vibrant village.

We had the most amazing stay at Juan Carlos’s place in San Lazzaro. San Lazzaro is a beautiful agrarian town in the Amalfi mountains. It’s about an hour by bus from Amalfi - but we actually preferred it to the coastal towns - the views are spectacular and small community lovely. There are buses to Pompeii and Naples that leave very near by and the Path of the Gods. Juan Carlos, his son Rene, and their family made us feel incredibly welcome. They helped us find our way, shuttled us around, and suggested excellent activities for the entire time we were there. They even spontaneously invited us to their family lunch on their public holiday, testament to their hospitable nature. We’ve stayed at countless airbnbs and never have we been treated so well. The apartment was spacious but cosy. In short everything was perfect. We will treasure our special memories of San Lanzarro.
