I have been studying here for 6 years and I have to say that, as far as the level of teachers is concerned, except for exceptions, the university is very good. As for the subjects of study, some are useless repetitions of others (sometimes I happened to have to study the same book for two different exams), others are planned in the program but are useless and only serve to assign the chair to a teacher , to be replaced by others as soon as he moves or retires. Student office useless, disorganized and poorly informed, the info you have to look for yourself. Regarding placement and placements is the same thing, plus you have to overcome an embarrassing bureaucratic process. As for the thesis, even here you are left alone, it is difficult to find a prof available to take you as a specialist and when you find it often you are asked to work on it for a year, always without assistance. But the thing that disappointed me the most is the fact that until you reach the end of the path and do not enter a law firm, nobody tells you in the least about the dramatic work situation of those working in the forensic field in Italy. If you do not want to be big children up to 40 years and study to the bitter end in hopes of winning competitions, because disappointed by the career of the lawyer, avoid this faculty like the plague.

The Department of Law houses the Studium Juris among the oldest in Europe, born right in the city of Macerata in 1290. The entire building, which is flanked by the deconsecrated church of San Paolo, has fresh well-kept as well as other buildings where the University has placed its offices. If they allow you, ask to visit the main hall, the ancient library and the San Paolo hall. You will remain in suspense.
