Very beautifull

Foligno is situated in the central eastern part of Umbria for inhabitants it is the third city of the region. Compared to the nearby villages it is more modern but retains a beautiful historic center thanks to its religious and stately buildings. You can start from Piazza della Repubblica, which is the symbol of the city, the municipal building, the city museum, the palace of orders and the palace of the podestà. Surely if you visit Foligno in the first 15 days of September when the Giostra della Quintana takes place it is more interesting and beautiful. A few km from the center there is the interesting Sassovivo abbey.

Piazza della Repubblica is the main square of the town of Foligno where the town hall stands. Well maintained as indeed the whole square and very suggestive in the evening with the lights that emphasize the architecture.

very nice ... after all it is a small city, but with adequate services. Liveable and very comfortable; to be driven by any means, more specifically by bike. And during the ľ year, there are numerous typical events (quintana, street food ... etc.).
