Church of Saint Lawrence

Impressive interior with some beautiful works of art.

Very bright church with an eye-catching canopy over the altar. On the right side there are some chapels while on the left there are very baroque altars

The church of San Lorenzo is one of the historic churches of Spello, seen from the outside it is very simple of white stone but it is worthwhile to enter because the interior with three naves is very beautiful and well maintained. To admire the altar canopy very similar to that of San Pietro (in miniature), the choir inlaid wood, finely carved wooden pulpit, the great shrine, the large canvas at the end of the right aisle.
