Weird place. We were outside the summer season but from what we could see, locked up dank dark cave entrances, it did not look at all appealing. Very hard to find as well. Might be fine in summer?

Beautiful place. Bring a snorkel and mask. There are peddle boats and umbrellas for rent, all at a reasonable price. Go to Canoa Badissco and talk to Massimiliano. He's a great guy who speaks reasonable English. He'll help you out.

A pine forest equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and tables for lunch or breakfast. All accompanied by a bar and restaurant service. The pine forest overlooks a splendid cliff from which to immerse yourself in its crystal clear waters of shining emerald color. The place has no equal. It is accessed by shuttle by parking the car in a large parking lot called Grotta dei Cervi, the caves contain pictograms dating back to the Neolithic period and represent the largest pictorial complex in Europe. The cave that branches off into its corridors was a sanctuary where the communities went to officiate proposition rites and venerate the Mediterranean Mother, it preserves paintings of archers, dancing shamans, labyrinths, doodles and astral signs. It is called "the Sistine of the Neolithic Age". The path in the cave is impervious and the caves are not accessible to the public but you can admire their charm through 3D films that are projected continuously in the pine forest. An unforgettable place.
