Villa Margherita Favignana Residence - Giardino dell'Impossibile

Simply fabulous. Great swimming pool and an extraordinary garden in an old stone quarry. I’d go back tomorrow if I could!

We spent the holidays in this wonderful structure. The welcoming houses are immersed in a huge garden full of botanical varieties, flowers and plants, including tall trees. In this garden it is nice to walk and stop in the gazebos, in the hammocks, to the sound of the fountains. The structure has a beautiful and very clean well-equipped swimming pool, illuminated at night in a very suggestive way. Do not forget the possibility to go down to the Giardino Dell’Impossibile, an ancient tuff quarry, where you can walk in the nymphaeum and along the numerous paths, surrounded by lush vegetation carefully selected and cared for. Raffaele and the whole staff were always very kind and ready to satisfy all requests. Car parking is certainly very valuable. Last but not least, a special thought goes to the creator of this wonderful place, Mrs. Gabriella Campo.

It is a fascinating, almost surreal place. With the visit to the garden, thanks also to the words of a very prepared guide, it is possible to discover the great work that was done in the quarries of the island and the impressive recovery that has been made of these places. A small green oasis hidden in the barren landscape, a place to visit.

Visit not to be missed. You enter an earthly paradise like few others. Beautiful all year round for the different blooms of exotic plants. Applause for the rapporteur's comprehensive and passionate descriptions.

Villa Margherita cannot be missed. A splendid Hypogeum garden created by a private individual with the work of a lifetime. Great guide. The price is well justified.
