The owner, a venerable woman, is polite and puts you at ease. He organizes excursions and accompanies you by car if you need. Polite never intrusive. You feel at home.

Double room, very small: in plan 2.80m x 2.80m (surface of 7.84sqm), compared to a minimum area by law for single rooms of 9 square meters and for double rooms (this room is even rented as a double !!!) of 14 sqm. It is absolutely forbidden by law to rent such a room. Moreover, the room is equipped with a single bed and a half, which should accommodate two people (?!). Unseemly decor even for a low-grade hostel. Bathroom without bidet. Bathroom ceiling full of mold, which leaves an acrid odor throughout the room. Mattress completely stained and dirty. Flannel sheets in a state of wear that made them unusable. Almost non-existent soundproofing: the room is connected via a closed door to the owner's kitchen and it is impossible to have even a minimum of privacy. Price anything but cheap: 49 euros per night. Receipt delivered but without indicating the VAT number of the structure or the receipt number. The worst experience of my life! Nightmare room!

Friendly, very familiar, I felt at home, a very quiet place near Etna and visit part of beautiful Sicily
