Another beautiful Nebrodi refuge. Too bad it is reserved for a few "close friends"!

Oasis of peace and colors, equipped for picnics

Forestry construction with adjoining area equipped with benches and tables. It can be reached from the highway 120, taking the road called Primo Flascio, initially paved and which then becomes a fairly easy dirt road. At about 3.5 km at a crossroads, turn right and after about another 3.5 km, after an uphill curve you arrive at the gate of the refuge to the right of the dirt road which continues, with impervious passages, up to the path to the Chapel of the Three Virgins.

Refuge Forest Zarbata with adjoining picnic area, situated 1095 meters above sea level, surrounded by an oak forest. Although we know the place well, it remains each time enchanted by the environment since the panorama offers a full view of Mount Etna, and the Nebrodi Park. Place also accessible by car.
