A beautiful village that deserves greater promotion and enhancement

Although far from the glories of the past, this mining village between Iglesias and Fluminimaggiore always manages to take the hearts of those who pass through it. It will be for the beautiful oak and oak woods, or for the many ruined houses that the imagination of visitors would like to restore and live, the fact remains that Sant'Angelo transmits the charm of a pleasant and timeless place, with the his little story, with its many stories. Borgo di Sant'Angelo, former mountain climatic health resort and half of a holiday for wealthy families from the Continent, is in the circuit of the "Giuseppe Dessì" Cultural Park. Currently the large hotel structure in the village is used as a migrant reception center.
