It is undoubtedly the most impressive megalithic construction of Ossola. The southern side and the west side in which a niche opens up are particularly striking. The wall then continues north for a few tens of meters, however, lowering its height. All this forms a sort of open grassy terrace on the Antigorio Valley. It ignores the era of construction as well as its use and this despite various studies and archaeological research that have, however, led to the discovery of Roman artifacts. The popular superstition considers it the work of the Devil who intends to throw at Arvenolo the base of a bridge that crosses the valley to Cravegna. The asphalted road that goes up to Arvenolo is passable only by authorized.
