The Museum of the Abbey of San Colombano is located in Bobbio next to the Abbey. Founded on September 3, 1963, it houses artifacts that cover the period from the first centuries of the Christian era to the sixteenth century, subdivided into ten sections the latter as a picture gallery. It is located in the premises that formerly housed the scriptorium and its library.
Divided into several sections, Interesting and very quick to visit at low cost.
Among the finds there is also the mug of San Colombano which according to a devotional legend seems to have "thaumaturgical" powers, he had it from a Breton king when he passed from Cornwall to Armorica.
The museum is quite small, maybe in 30 minutes you see it. It has several interesting articles. Admission is € 3
