Today I changed my mind regarding this dealership. And from 4 stars I pass to a star ..... and many things need to be improved, first of all honesty towards the people who come to you and I also explain why. In 2016 my girlfriend bought a new car from you and a few time ago the police stopped us for a check and they realized that the rims on the car are not up to standard because they are not marked in the booklet. Luckily they didn't seize his car and they told us to fix the problem as soon as possible. We immediately went to the dealership talking to the seller (Giovanni) and we agreed that he let us know something as soon as possible. After 2 weeks my girlfriend called him to ask for updates and Giovanni invites us to the dealership to show us some alloy wheels and then choose ... we agreed on the model of the wheel and then when he arrived he asked us to mount them. As usual, no one contacts us and calls my girlfriend again. The salesman says he is at home because he had flu and can pass when he comes back. If he's in a hurry, he can go earlier. For work reasons my girlfriend could not but I went there I show up at the dealership and tell me that the rims are to be ordered which we established some time ago then today Giovanni calls my girlfriend to tell them that we need a contribution from her of 200 €. unfortunately it is necessary to report you because I see that there is no will on your part to fix this thing .... nice way to trust the customer ...
I put a star only because less does not exist.
We took the machine to be repaired thinking it was under warranty, they immediately said no and that the damage was around 400/500 euros. After two days they call and tell us that the quote was 1900 euros and when we communicated that we would not have the car repaired there they told us that we had to give them 150 euros anyway for having made a simple diagnosis on the computer. Obviously, everything had not been said at the time of the bequest of the car nor had anything signed. When we went there to immediately collect the car and pointed out that we would not give any money, they literally threw the keys on us and answered in an arrogant and rude way. From complaint !!!
Book on 25/09/2019 a diagnosis for a car ignition problem, an Opel Adam 1.2, for Thursday 01/10/2020 at 2.30pm. On the phone, the attention of those who fixed me the appointment was scarce, but in any case it confirms the appointment and we say goodbye.
I show up at the workshop on the established date and time, and there is no appointment made in my name on the PC (and nothing good was already presaged). However, I decide to leave the car, I sign the paper and the employee of the garage lets me know, after having explained the car problems, that they would have made the diagnosis and that by the following Monday they would have let me know. The response from them comes on Wednesday, almost a week after leaving the car. They inform me that the ignition problem is due to the flat battery (the battery had been mounted new the week before, and had been checked by the electrician with the tester, resulting in perfect working order), and that, however, from the diagnosis the machine has problems with the cooling system, the water pump, as well as the head gasket burned, for a damage of about 2000 €. Obviously they cannot give me the quote without first accepting the intervention, because they would have had to disassemble the car and order spare parts to be able to make a price. So, either I accepted the intervention or no estimate.
So I decide to go and get the car the next day, or on 08/10/2020, pay the diagnosis and leave. I am greeted badly by the assistance clerk, who urges me to leave and come back in the afternoon to collect it, because the car is disassembled. I ask to be able to see the car, which was perfectly assembled in all its parts, and ready to be delivered.
Moral of the story: I take the car for a diagnosis and understand what problems it has with the ignition, I leave there with a diagnosis for a cylinder head gasket and 140 € less. Obviously the reason for the ignition problem was not understood what it was.
Reported to opel for the serious disservice and damage, as well as for the insult received in being told that the car could not be delivered because it was disassembled. Truly absurd, to define the situation as Kafkaesque would be an understatement. Not recommended, and from complaint!
In response to your comment, I would like to clarify a few things:
1) I note with great regret that in order to have detailed information on the diagnosis made, and handsomely paid for, I had to negatively review your workshop. I did not find the same availability in person: in fact your employee clearly reported to me that the ignition problem was due to the battery to be replaced. I have no problem attaching the receipt that was issued to me if you want, in which it is clearly written "battery to replace".
2) made an appointment for the date of Thursday 01/10/2020, I arrived at the office on the set date and time, and there was no trace of my appointment. In fact my car was checked on Wednesday 07/10/2020, one week after the appointment. Never found such a disservice.
3) I was vehemently urged to come back in the afternoon to get my car back, because it was completely disassembled and therefore to be reassembled. I lean into your car park, and see that my car was perfectly assembled in all its parts, including the battery, and that it starts up. How do you explain such behavior, if not as a spite of your employee?
Having said that, I already have more than one reason not to accept your kindness in wanting to meet me, also because it is late and above all because it comes as a result of my negative review, without which I would have received only unreasonably uneducated behavior from you.
Thanks, and never again !!
Excellent mechanical assistance service. Always available and friendly. Very professional.
