Grand Hotel Duca D'Este

Excellent/friendly staff who go out of their way to help with anything you might need. Great food in the restaurant if you have to stay in due to COVID-19.

The best thing about this hotel is de nice swimming pool. The rooms are extremely old, not well maintained, very poor bed. Everything really dark. Reception staff is friendly but they do want to photocopy your credit card which I don't like. Lots of tour buses in this hotel but for the breakfast they keep them separate from the other guests which is nice. So the overall 2 stars because of the horrible rooms (zero stars). Breakfast and pool are 4 stars.

Great place to stay in Rome. Reasonably priced. Breakfast is just right. Book it in advance to get a better bargain

Nice rooms, big bathroom, it has a wide variety of activities in the hotel (swimming, sauna, gym) the food is good but nothing to special.
