I loved it. Very few visitors go yo here, but in tivoli is a Must to do! Very good managing mode of the collection and helpful & kind staffs.

Please make a note that half of this exhibit is closed until May 8th. I stopped by and was only able to see a portion which is outside, and was not worth the money which was only 5 E.

Tickets to be done online. (only € 2 for students between 18 and 25, for this price I recommend a visit, otherwise 8 € full price). Nice view. More could be done with signage and maintenance; however the keepers offer a free visit essential to understand the place as it has undergone many transformations over the years. Let's say that there is not a lot to visit but it has a very interesting history. If you are in Tivoli I recommend something else to visit if you have never been there, otherwise it can be an interesting addition but not essential. Thanks again for the kindness of the staff :)

Another small "treasure" of Tivoli in the province of Rome. It is a less well-known archaeological site than the Hadrian's Villa and the nearby Villa D'Este and is worth visiting. The sanctuary of Hercules Victor, dating back to the 2nd century BC, is one of the major complexes of Roman architecture in the Republican era. Inside there is also a small Antiquarium where it is possible to admire finds and statues from the Roman era. The visit during the sunset is suggestive, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. The next visit that was recommended to us is the Sanctuary of Fortuna Primigenia in Palestrina, also in the province of Rome, which has many similarities with that of Hercules the winner.

The bell rang at the gate which would be open only if in possession of the ticket online, the site did not make the payment (tested by 2 phones), the employee at the intercom advised me to go to Villa Adriana to buy the ticket which includes the entrance to the 2 sites. I gave up and opted for villa d Este where there is also the ticket office
