Chiesa di San Giovanni e affreschi di Jacobino Longo

In the municipality of Villafranca Piemonte, in the hamlet of San Giovanni, there is this small church of undoubted interest for the frescos contained therein and little known. Jacobino Longo is a local painter of the first half of the sixteenth century, author of an interesting vernacular painting not devoid of courtly and more cultured references. In order to gain access, it is necessary to ask for the keys to the people who live in the house opposite the church.
