Call it second youth, call it whatever you want, but I feel like I was a piece of wood just out of the sawmill. V. But then I can also hope, I am already at the third age! But how do you stay young according to you? M. Easy: first always do your duty. Second, never overdo it. Third: do everything with as much love as you can. What did you do in life? V. I have always done my duty, my duty as a worker, I have worked a lot, I have gained the trust of my leaders and I have always done everything with love. M. See? Then we are not very different. V. But now it is enough to speak, rested that visits are coming soon, I must go and open. M. But what do you do? V. Me? Always the same for a lifetime. But now come on here, here I give you a little bit of oil and you're like new. M. You must have had a hard but loving life towards the things you have dealt with. V. I'll come by to see you tonight. For years it has been the story of a mill and its old, always the same every day, with a mill that does not feel the passing of time and an old man who always finds himself ready for the passage of time. But for us, that we are only spectators of this story will always and only our beloved old laborious mill worker.

The old mill of Polcenigo is one of those structures that enrich the village of Polcenigo. On our visit during the Christmas period it was nice to visit this beautifully maintained and refurbished property. Even the driveway to access the old mill illuminated with glass jars in which there were small intermittent lights, made the arrival in this structure very welcoming and in terms of the Christmas climate. Inside the room there was an explosion of special cribs and also prepared by local nursery schools.
