Col Dei S'Cios

Panoramic panoramic balcony at 1340 meters, reachable by car by parking at the nearby Col dei S'Cios hut, where you can now also eat, or on foot from the Cansiglio-Cavallo ridge, or for the more willing ones from CAI 984 from the underlying Mezzomonte (departure from ex Bar da Stale). The hill takes its name from the fossil shells of which the area is rich, in the local dialect precisely Scios or Sclos. Evocative landscape, on clear days the view sweeps down to the sea. To the north east you can see the nearby complex of the 5 peaks of the Horse.
