Small but with an interesting diversity of puppets

Inside the monumental complex of San Paolo, since 2002 the Castle of the Puppets has been housed in the Giordano Ferrari Museum, a museum of animation theater, which exhibits puppets, marionettes, puppets, television puppets, sets, scripts and props. It is a museum particularly rich in collections which over the years, starting with the Ferrari collection that inspired the birth of the museum, has been enriched with numerous pieces by different puppeteers. In one room, UAN, the television puppet born with commercial TV and the protagonist of numerous television programs, is exhibited

A little hidden this excellent museum, 5 rooms, with a really nice excursus on puppets, many pieces to see. Puppet opera always phenomenal.

Wonderfully located puppet theater and museum in downtown Parma and centrally located. In summer there is a puppet theater in the inner courtyard that is equally interesting for children and adults. The Ferrari family team is great and is involved with heart and soul!

Really interesting even for those who are not passionate about the genre. Very simple exhibition but at the same time very rich in puppets. Free entry.
