Nice visit thanks to i like parma. Beautiful environments with a spectacular party room. From Wikipedia, the palace extends between Strada della Repubblica and the side Via Fra 'Salimbene and Borgo Lalatta, occupying the entire northern portion of the block. The symmetrical main façade, entirely covered in fake ashlar, is divided horizontally by high plastered string courses, enriched with tiles; in the center opens the large entrance portal, flanked by two Doric marble columns, which support a balustrade balcony; on the sides there are three large windows on each side, delimited by cornices and surmounted by alternating triangular and curvilinear pediments; on the main floor there is a French window in the middle and six imposing large windows at its sides, framed by fluted pilasters supporting the triangular and curvilinear pediments; on the upper level there are seven square windows, delimited by molded frames; at the top the cornice with crowning teeth extends. Inside, the building develops around an elegant square courtyard, surrounded by a four-sided portico with round arches supported by tall Doric columns, replaced at the corners by four square pillars; from the portico in front of the entrance leads to the second courtyard, open on one side. On the right of the courtyard there is the imposing scissor staircase in marble and stone, enriched by numerous terracotta sculptures by the neoclassical sculptor Giuseppe Carra;] on the main floor the rooms are characterized by the stucco decorations made by Giocondo Albertolli; the rooms are also embellished with elegant eighteenth-century furnishings and paintings, including the San Rocco by Parmigianino. The most sumptuous environment is the large Salone delle Feste, decorated with rich stuccoes both on the pavilion vault and on the walls.

Very beautifull! And the free guides (people) are great.

A little gem of our city that I was lucky enough to visit during the FAI days. The palace, in fact, is private and not always open to visitors. The FAI guides were very good at explaining the history of the building and its architectural features
