museum & library are located in the same building. the ticket office is located at the IAT on the ground floor near the pharmacy. The museum path winds on two floors and presents archaeological finds accompanied by modern multimedia installations. It is possible to know the history of the area from the Palaeolithic up to the present day and to the history of the evolution of the city of Sestri. interesting rooms related to mining (the route continues then in the archeological park of Castiglione Chiavarese) and the Roman stone. Very beautiful multimedia installations. to note the part related to the twentieth century and the impeccable work of the curators. Conferences and various initiatives animate this Center not only a container of past history but of life, culture and tradition of the city.
