Here the past is present. History, faith and tradition are one, welcomed in a charming and welcoming environment thanks also to the Rector Don Adriano. Church seat of the Knights Gerosolomitani of San Giovanni (ovv. Of Malta). Not to be missed!

It is a jewel of the order of Malta in Verona. The sanguine in the photo is inspired by Giorgione's altarpiece from Castelfranco and is the work of a painter friend of mine, a lover of sanguine.

The small church in question contains a precious treasure chest: the body of S Toscana, a woman of noble birth, who dedicated her life in conversation to the order of St. John of Jerusalem, caring for the sick, assisting the poor, in body and soul. The so-called "Compianto", a masterpiece of wood from the Mantegna school, is of great artistic interest. (year 1500) The same is placed in a niche where the Saint rested. The Lamentation recalls the death of Jesus, and his burial, which was attended by the figures described in the Gospel of St. John the Evangelist. To be seen
