Piancavallo Parking Area area can accommodate about 70 vehicles in well-defined positions of around 7.50 m. x 4 m. In order to enter the Parking Area and obtain the access keys, you must check-in at the reception of the Hotel 1301 INN, that is close to the ice stadium. During high season the reception (as it is written on the website) is open 7 days a week, from 08.00 to 22.00. I have always checked-in and checked-out in the afternoon; I have always found the staff, who was helpful and courteous; I have never had problems. On the website it is written that in low season (April, May, October and November) the camper Parking Area is opened upon reservation. However, I have never had the opportunity to verify if what reported is true. The cost for parking in the camper area is € 13.00 per night. This means that it is possible to spend a weekend on skis from Saturday morning to Sunday evening (after the closure of the lifts) for a really modest amount of money. The great value of this parking area for campers is that it is adjacent to the Piancavallo ski lift (Tremol 1 chairlift). It is so close that at lunch, instead of spending money on restaurants, you can eat in your campervan, and then going back to the slopes for the afternoon skiing. Near the rest area there is also the Alpine Coaster, that is a fixed structure that allows you to get on a two-seat sled. The sledges have backrests, safety belts and run firmly hooked to rails that follow anti-derail guides. The descent of the Alpine Coaster is more than 1,000 meters long with bumps, parabolic canals and 360 ° turns. It is a really fast attraction, fun for both adults and children, but that can be done safely. It is a must try for those who stop in this Parking Area for campers. Always next to the Parking Care there is the ice palace, where it is possible to rent skates at very reasonable prices. The center of Piancavallo can be reached with a pleasant walk of 5-10 minutes on a wide boardwalk. It is therefore an excellent camper parking area. The quality / price ratio is also excellent.

Very quiet semi-empty I would say that the place in summer lends itself well for rest and walks the price is good ask for € 13.00 with electrical connection, loading, unloading there would also be water on the electric column but the area is good the country from my point of view is very popular in winter the only supermarket is the baker who also has groceries but it is fine.

Very nice place for the location surrounded by nature. Too bad the indecent, dirty, broken, half-flooded services. It sucks.
