It is the third artificial lake in order of time built in Alta Formazza after the Castel and the Toggia. Being a short distance from the car parks, it is an easy to reach and therefore very popular destination; a dirt road allows, then, the circumnavigation. To appreciate it at its best, however, you need to climb the surrounding mountains and look at it from above.

Lake Morasco is located in the upper Val Formazza, overlooking the village of Riale. A path allows you to make a ring around the lake, nice and quiet place.

Spectacular place, nice walk around the lake until you reach the border with Switzerland. Artificial lake with beautiful views. Trip to the TOP.
