The Diocesan Museum of Palazzo Borgia in Pienza is a real treasure trove of wonders to discover, above all it is about Sienese art from the 13th to the 18th century, not only painting but also sculpture, jewelery, textiles and miniature of great level, mostly commissioned to the greatest artists by Pope Pius II in the mid-fifteenth century when he built the entire city of Pienza, including the Cathedral and the noble palaces, including the building where the museum is located. The ticket is absolutely modest compared to the beauty of the exhibited works.
