Simone is a nice guy and a kind host. The apartment is totally central.

Fantastic location in old city. Plenty of space. Comfortable bed. Double glazing on windows keeps noise from revelers and markets out. Excellent value but needs to provide instructions for washing machine, improve bedside lamps and update kitchenware. No service of apartment during stay.

If I had to evaluate only the apartment I would have to give it 5 stars: simply wonderful. But, alas, the practical management and efficiency of the landlord deserve ZERO. (You should start putting this choice too). We arrive at the agreed time and there is no one: the owner who has been called twice informs us that he is in Milan and that a factotum is arriving ... ok. It arrives, and helps us with access. We kindly ask how to regulate car access in the ZTL (the house is in the historic center). He doesn't know, and that's okay ...: we call the other back to Milan asking for a copy of the registration document and driving license, explaining that he will make the request to the municipality (he says normal practice). Ok. It was Friday 23. In the middle of this week we do not get permission from the municipality, so we call to ask for news. A series of excuses begins: I made it, I send you a receipt ... and nothing, I didn't have time, now I can do it ... and nothing, they changed the procedure .... and still nothing. We call the municipality, Thursday afternoon: our request DOES NOT EXIST. Thank goodness we solved it before the fine was raised. But is it like this ?! We paid for a full service and found ourselves running after the municipal of another city! Expedia (we used their site) was advised of the treatment. Last thing: the guy hasn't been answering messages and calls since Friday! Nice professional! Never again! And I don't even put photos, out of spite!

Reception non-existent. We were not notified by telephone that the house is in the ZTL area. We had to wait three days to get the car permit. Receipt of the stay never arrived.
