Revoltella Museum

Even though every site we looked at said it was open in actuality it was closed without explanation why or when it will be open.

Good for the different aspects of home and art gallery

This museum was once the private house of Baron Pasquale Revoltella. The arts and paintings inside were incredible. This museum should be on your list of places to visit whilst in Trieste.

Although not a top painter, there are many great works. Forget those reputations, the paintings are wonderful. The host is very tasteful.

Gives a very nice overview of painters of whom many were born in Trieste. Interesting to visit the house of the previous builder and owner Mr. Revoltella
