Fabulous original collection on three levels in a fantastic home museum. Entry by donation. Highly recommend. Easily spend 2 hours here. Don’t need a guide as previously suggested by another reviewer.

Beautiful historic house. Life was grand for the Gentry. Kind staff, the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Worth the visit.

Beautiful and interesting museum: you can go around the XIX century Villa of Sartorio merchants family. Apart from the well preserved villa itself, there are a room with Tiepolo's sketches and another one with remarkable XIV and XV century painting from former venetian territories of Istria and Dalmatia . Very kind staff. Worth a visits if you have kids too, to engage them in discussions of old time lifestyle in the big kitchen or at the desk with inkwell and sealing wax;-)
